With our interdisciplinary team of biologists, biochemists and chemists, we are able to facilitate patent and utility model registrations, opposition and nullity suits and infringement proceedings in the entire spectrum of life sciences, including molecular biology, genetics (particularly plant genetics) and protein biochemistry. For example, we protect intellectual property rights for cloned genes and their uses; recombinant proteins, antibodies, nucleic acids and nucleic acid amplification cases, miniaturized scanning probe arrays and related detection techniques; RNAi, transgenic plants or recombinant viruses.
In addition thereto, together with our specialized chemistry department we advise our clients in the fields of pharmaceuticals and pharmacology with classical chemical and/or recombinant active ingredients.
We offer our client comprehensive advice or "troubleshooting" in isolated cases. We analyse your situation, create opinions if necessary, compose, track and evaluate intellectual property, advice in licensing or sales thereof and negotiate out of court settlements.
Furthermore, we represent your interests and intellectual property rights at the German and European patent offices and courts and organize the protection of your intellectual property rights worldwide. Additionally, we are equipped with extensive experience in leading and organizing both national and international infringement proceedings.
